The project

W.O.R.M. ('Werkgroep ter Ondersteuning van Regionale Muzikanten') was a group of enthousiastic volunteers that supported local musicians and bands by giving them opportunities to perform at local festivals or in a local pub in the area of Klein-Brabant (Bornem, Puurs, Willebroek) in Belgium. Home base of W.O.R.M. was a pub called 'De Balans' in Eikevliet.

A few time per year, they also organized blues, jazz or rock jams where any musician could join and perform on stage, and once in a while some less known international musicians were invited as well.

W.O.R.M.'s peak years were between 2013 and 2017, where we had an event every week. Nowadays, due to several external factors, the organisation's activities are heavily reduced.

Target group :
all local musicians in the area of Bornem, Puurs and Willebroek, no matter what style of music they bring (blues, jazz, rock, metal, singer songwriter, etc.)

My role in this project

As part of this group of enthousiasts and knowing my way around graphic design software, I created the event posters for the W.O.R.M. activities.
